“Circularity Report”: Plastics Europe publishes new report on the circular economy for plastics

The European industry should and wants to become circular. This also applies to the plastics industry, which has made #CircularEconomy its guiding principle. To know where to start, we need a solid database on plastic flows in the EU: from production through processing and consumption to waste processing and recycling. This is precisely what the second edition of the Plastics Europe report “Circular Economy for Plastics – A European Overview” provides, with the latest figures from 2020. When reading it, it becomes clear: We are on the right track, but we need to accelerate even more towards a circular economy.
